·Resumen

A partir de la publicación de la obra de Brown y Levinson ([1978] 1987), los estudios en torno al principio de la cortesía verbal se han multiplicado. El fenómeno considerado tradicionalmente como opuesto, la descortesía verbal, no ha sido, en cambio, tan estudiado. En general, se ha tendido a obviar el hecho de que existen eventos comunicativos, como pueden ser las tertulias televisivas, en los que los interlocutores buscan preferentemente el desacuerdo, el ataque frontal y la agresión.

Tomando estos discursos mediáticos como base, definiremos los conceptos de la (des)cortesía y agresividad verbal y analizaremos las estrategias (des)corteses y agresivas utilizadas por la figura del tertuliano televisivo. Asimismo, nos plantearemos la cuestión de si dichas estrategias descorteses y agresivas constituyen una trasgresión de las normas de la conversación o si, por el contrario, pueden considerarse como un principio caracterizador del rol de tertuliano televisivo.

·Abstract

The publication of the book of Brown and Levinson ([1978]1987), caused a lots of studies around politeness. However, the opposed phenomenon, the impoliteness, has not been so studied. Generally, one has stretched to obviate the fact that communicative events exist (for example, the television gatherings), in that the speakers look preferably for the disagreement, the frontal attack and the aggression.

Thus, our principle objective will be define the concept of impoliteness and analyze the impoliteness strategies used by the members of a tv gatherings.
Likewise, we will appear the question of if the above mentioned strategies discourteous and aggressive constitute a transgression of the procedure of the conversation or if, on the contrary, they can be considered to be a principle tipycal of the role of members of tv gatherings..
