·Resumen
En este trabajo, se trata el modo en que pueden extraerse datos sobre la realidad fonética y fonológica de etapas antiguas de la lengua del análisis de diferentes aspectos de los textos. Las grafías habituales e inhabituales, la rima, los juegos de palabras y los juicios explícitos de los contemporáneos nos dan instrumentos para desvelar los datos fónicos que la grafía puede ocultar. Se muestra también el comportamiento de los diferentes tipos de ediciones con respecto a las grafías que difieren de las actuales.

·Abstract
This paper deals with the relationship between graphical traits of older texts in Spanish (from the Middle Ages until the 19th century) and the phonetical and phonological reality the graphical traits sometimes hide or disguise. Infrequent ways of writing a word or words, rhyme, rhythm, puns and the explicit opinions of the contemporaries about pronunciation changes in a region or between some speakers give us a precious information. The article also shows how the several types of edition deal with the graphical traits of these texts.
